  • You can make wine by fermenting in plastic bottles--Heshan Plastic
Wines ferment in two stages. During primary fermentation, a great deal of gas is generated as yeast consumes sugar, and for this aerobic process to happen most efficiently, the must (juice, sugar, yeast and water mixture) needs exposure to the air. Leaving the liquid in a plastic pail covered with plastic wrap permits oxygen to enter and carbon dioxide to escape, at the same time preventing microorganisms that might spoil the wine from getting in. After the length of time specified in the recipe, typically three to five days, plastic soda bottles can be used to hold the wine during the secondary stage of fermentation. 1.Siphon the must from the pail into clean, odor-free plastic soda bottles. As much as possible, avoid siphoning up the sediment settled in the bottom of the pail. 2. Place the air-lock stems into the holes of the rubber stoppers. 3.Insert the stoppers into the mouths of the bottles. 4.Fill the air-lock stems half full with water and put the dust cap back on it. The water creates a barrier, allowing gases generated by the ongoing fermentation, which will be reduced from the primary stage to be released, but blocking out contaminants. 5.Leave for the length of time specified in the recipe in a warm, dimly-lit place. The ideal room temperature is 70 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. 6.Rebottle the wine. Avoiding the sediment at the bottom, siphon the wine out of the fermentation bottles and into two clean soda bottles. 7. Drop one Campden tablet into each bottle. When wet, these tablets release sulfur dioxide, which sterilizes the wine, helps preserve the color and stops the fermentation process, but doesn't affect flavor. Screw caps on the bottles and leave them to age for the length of time recommended in your recipe.

  • How to open a Plastic Jar? --Heshan Plastic
Jars are vessels constructed using plastic or glass that store foods, household materials, flowers and much more. Plastic jars usually include plastic screw-top lids that can easily be tightened with a clockwise motion and loosened with a counter-clockwise motion. Sometimes jars are difficult to open, but there are simple techniques that can help you loosen stubborn lids. 1.Grip the body of the jar with one hand. Place your other hand on the lid. Cup the lid firmly and rotate the lid counter-clockwise until the lid is removed from the jar. Move to Step 2 if the jar won't open. 2.Run warm water on the plastic jar's lid. The warm water will help the lid expand and loosen a stubborn seal. Place the jar on a secure surface and rotate the jar's lid in a counter-clockwise motion to remove. Move to Step 3 if the jar won't open. 3.Wrap a rubber band on the plastic jar just below the lid to prevent your hands from slipping. Rotate the lid in a counter-clockwise motion to remove. Move to Step 4 if the jar still won't open. 4. Pour 4 oz. of vinegar into a microwave-safe glass and microwave on high for 40 seconds. Turn the plastic jar upside-down and pour the warm vinegar over the plastic jar to help expand the jar's lid and lubricate the grooves that hold the lid in place. Turn the jar right side up, place it on a secure surface and turn the lid counter-clockwise to remove the lid. 5.Repeat these techniques as needed until you are able to open the plastic jar.
